These solutions come from different worlds. Streaming TV has had an emphasis on video… in the home theater world, video distracts you from the audio. Audio can often serve as emphasis (heavy bass… explosions), also it is heavily processed. Processing kills high end audio sound.
The worlds are slowly converging. But it is unlikely for total convergence in the next 20 or 30 years. Their goals are just too different. I have been an audiophile and worked in the high tech (think DAC, microprocessor, LCD, global electronics market) for 40 years.
