Revox Straight Line Turntables

Does anyone know whether the Revox H-9, B-297, etc. have a built in phone preamp and if so, whether and how it can be disconnected?

Most info appears to be in German, guessing it doesn't have a built in phonoamp. Being German, maybe a little "better" or equal to a Pioneer "rack" unit from the same period.

I did mean Swiss(and German) typically imply precise build quality though.
