Review: MFSL Twisted Sister, "Stay Hungary"

Received my copy of MFSL Stay Hungary by Twisted Sister, Serial#000240.  I believe 3000 copies were made.  The following is a comparison between the original vinyl which I still have and the new vinyl I received today.  The new copy is quiet, quiet, quiet!  There is absolutely no surface noise, clicks, ticks or pops.  The packaging is excellent and the record arrived completely flat.

The bass is very deep and tight, no mushiness at all.  The vocals are clear and not nasally like the original vinyl.  This highs are so pristine and pure, it doesn't sound like the same record.  I can finally make out all the vocals without looking at the record cover, there is an overall ease and ebb and flow to the music, it is quite uncanny.  The songs, well they are all the same but seem to have a rightness to them that isn't present on the original record.

The reissue is a complete success and I am very happy to have this in my collection.   While I was never a huge Twisted Sister fan, I wanted the reissue because I wanted to see what MFSL could do that Atlantic Records could not.  There are only 3000 copies available (some will say its too many) and my low serial number shows it isn't a hot seller yet.  I hope that others on the fence will now be enticed to purchase.  Kudos to Music Direct for making this all possible.

Twisted sister were very underrated imho simply because of their image.
Check out the heavy metal version  of band aid called hear,n,aid.
Eddie ojedas solo kicks so called superior axemens solos into the weeds.

I will probably buy this as I too have the original and it is wimpy to say the least.
Thx Stereo5.
I've had my copy for about a week now.  I agree with everything above.

Excellent reissue!
