I bought the 207/2. Can only say they ARE big en are able to sound BIG. Have not heard the latest Salon2 but I think Kef is more of an all round speaker but the Salon is maybe more refined, "tighter". Better is not an appropriate word to use here. Have to find out yourself. But ENJOY. Wim
