Chiming in here as the largest DALI dealer in North America and ex Revel dealer.
The Oberon 7 are really fun musical speakers.
For DALI, we feel that the Opticon 6 mkII is the most enjoyable and musically satisfying speaker at the price point by far. Could easily be had by any good DALI dealer (not online retailer who charges full price which includes margin that helps them supplement their return policy) for under $2,000 out the door. Made in Denmark, not China like the Revels. So that is a big factor as well.
We feel like the Opticons are the first step in the "true" DALI sound.
When you get the Oberon 7's make sure you point them straight out with barely any toe in. I say this because when you point them truly straight out, they will look toed OUT. The key is to toe them in SLIGHTLY so that they look "straight" when you sit in the listening position. Please reach out to us if you need any help.
