Reterminating Kimber 12TC Speaker cable: possible?

Ok, I know it's possible, but the real question is...how much of a nightmare is it? I have a pair of 12TC non-biwire cables that I picked up for a song. Would like to convert them to biwire. Considering the price I don't mind doing surgery myself.

Have you re-terminated 8TC or 12TC with good results? Any tips?
