Replacing a Cambridge Audio CXN V2

I am in search of a possible upgrade to my CXN V2, if a reasonably priced option exists.  I am looking for a streamer/DAC with wifi capability but do not need the option of an included amp or preamp.  My goal is for an improved sound, preferably noticeable.  I don't have any issue with my current setup but am always looking for improvements.  My limitations are that it needs to be wifi/Bluetooth capable as I don't have an ethernet plug accessible where my equipment is located.

I just don't even know where to start.  It will be connected to a HiFi Rose RA 180 integrated amp playing through Paradigm Founder 80Fs.

I'm hoping to keep the cost around 2K.

Thank you in advance

If you switch to a mesh wireless you can have a mesh node at the rig and hardwire from the node to the streamer. Opens up more possibilities and IMO is more stable.

jiuhl...I have a mesh system, if you mean like an Orb from Netgear.  Are you telling me that I can just run an ethernet cable from hte mesh satellite to my streamer and it I will work the same as plugging it in to an ethernet wall outlet?  If so this is game changing.

While technically not the same as going hard wired directly from the router, many find big improvements in both sound quality and more consistent performance by using either a mesh node or even a Wi-Fi extender wired to the streamer.  Definitely give it a go and let us know what you think if you could.  BTW, here’s a very reasonable Ethernet cable that gets good buzz here and won’t break the bank in case you need another cable for the mesh node…
