Repairing a Curious USB 3.0 cable

I have a Curious usb cable that the 3.0 end has been bent and does not want to stay in the hard drive. Curious says that they will fix it for a $60 fee but I must send it to Australia for repairs.
Can anyone recommend a US repair center?

Sorry I found this too late. I used to work for Mike Lenehan in Ashmore, QLD making Curious USB cables and Lenehan Audio RibbonFlex cables.

Weird that the package smelled of smoke, nobody there were smokers??!

Just received the cable back from Australia. All in all not too long of a wait. Although it still cost about $100 for repair and shipping costs.
BTW, the inside of the package does smell like smoke.

Well with no choice I ended up sending the Curious usb cable to Australia (Curious) for repair.
Let that be a warning to any future buyers of this cable there is absolutely no support in the USA.

just make sure you use ONE conductor per pin.  Doubling up on conductors is not a good thing for a digital cable.
