Thanks for the suggestions. I’m looking for someone to do the recapping. Gene Rubin is still going strong (I bought my Linn from him in the 1980s), but he is no longer a Linn dealer. Blackbird Audio appears to have closed permanently. I wound up taking the Lingo to Stan at Shelley’s Stereo in Woodland Hills. He recommended the Lingo 4 rather than a recap. That’s an expensive upgrade ($2K) just to play 45rpm.
Repair tech for Linn LP 12?
I have an older Linn LP 12, with the Lingo power supply. The 45 rpm function stopped working. Can anyone recommend a repair shop in southern California?
