Removing midrange driver on B&W CM10 S2

Hey guys

Please take a look at my B&W CM 10 S2 speaker below.

I would like to know how to go about safely removing the midrange driver, which is directly below the tweeter mounted at the top of the cabinet.

In order to do that, I need to first remove the silver metallic trim around the woofer without damaging the woofer or the glossy cabinet.

Anyone remove those metal trims on this speaker before? Are any special B&W tools needed for this? Or can I use a putty knife, screwdriver or some other common implement for that?

Thanks
