REL S510 or S812

I'm looking at either the 510 or the 812. Rel is having a sale this weekend $500 off the mid-line S series. I'm running lower powered tubes and Devore speakers. I love bass that envelops the room and crack the pavement in my driveway. I'm a product of the 80 NY club scene so I want bass that rattles my mailman's dentures out when he goes by.

Any further thoughts on the two? It's a $500 difference. Currently has an SVS3000 that I like, compared to the T9 a few years ago, and went with the SVS. Like most audio once you get above entry level companies seem to pull ahead.  

Not set on Rel if another brand makes more sense.

Yes! Thanks for the reply. I somewhat jokingly write these things but there is an undercurrent to music, almost at the atmospheric level, that is great to connect to. I had a pair of Verity Parsifal Anniversary that held this space well. It really takes a $20k plus main to start to create this foundation. 

Reason would say this line has been out for about 4-5 years. Are they clearing the inventory for a new launch?
