Rega Planar 2 vs Project RM4

I'm thinking of replacing my Thorens TD160 with either a Rega Planar2 with an RB300 arm or a Project RM4. Having not heard either would apppeciate your opinions.
Thanks

I've used and still own, both the Oracle Delphi and Sota Vacuum Saphire tables. Neither is as musical or 'right' as the Planar 2. I replaced the original motor with the Rega Upgrade and am using the SRM platter. The Michell Technoarm w/Denon 103D completes the package. Highly recommended.
Something to think about. The current version of the TD160, which aside from the suspension and motor is cut from the same basic cloth as the one you have, starts at $2,899.
I don't think it would, both should be better. Not sure about RM4, Xpression sounds good even with included cheap cartridge. You will probably want to add speed controler if you go with Pro-ject - definite improvement. Rega is good too and very popular.
