Rega Naia Aphellion 2 phono preamp

I’m getting ready to purchase a Rega Naia Aphellion 2 package but need a new phono preamp. I’m intrigued by the Lejonklou Entity and wonder if anyone as any experience with the Entity. I have a very open mind about phono preamp options

@oberoniaomnia    Ok here is my experience, I also just got the P10 with aphelion2. The p8 believe it or not has the cheapie carbon and sounds quite good, the Mofi has the master tracker. I also have a Rega Aria

I also have a Graham Slee mm stage but I also have a very interesting product from Graham Slee, its called the elevator, its a preamp you connect your MC set up into AND then the output goes to any MM input and you would be hearing the performance of the MM....I was listening to the P10 thru the Aria and then I hooked it up to the elevator into the Whest......Clocks to Kittens did it sound better, I mean quite a difference.  I am still in the trying things out/break in stage.

True the dip switches aren't super easy to get to, but not bad, I haven't tried it yet with the Whest MC input yet.  I also have the Whest rtd40se coming so will give that a go

Music Direct has them now at unbelievable 50% off with 60 day money back, they may go quickly, worth checking out and with 60 day money back cant lose.

@superhonestben Thanks for all the details. OK the GH elevator is a step up transformer. I use a Zesto Alesso SUT, and it sure makes a difference in sound with the Aphelion2, more full bodied. Played around quite a bit with setting on the Zesto also to check which combination of gains on SUT vs PS plus volume setting of pre-amp (PrimaLuna EVO 300 pre) plus resistance in SUT vs PS sounds the best to me in my system. Lots of fun!

Will keep an eye on the Whest products. But I am not in a hurry. It typically takes me a year to place an order. I am not one of the high gear turnover people. I rather think long and hard, then keep and forget about it.

No the Graham Lee elevator is a solid state moving coil head amp, it is not a SUT.
