Rega Elicit-R vs new Elicit Mk V

Has anyone compared these two? I had previously owned a Rega Brio, then an Elex-R and "upgraded" to the Elicit-R, but found the Elicit-R to have a different sound than the Elex-R. I did not care for the ELicit-R sonics.. Others have made the same comments. Not to say the Elicit-R has any problem. It just presented a departure from the Rega "house sound" I had enjoyed.

So, has anyone compared the two and can comment on their sound>
