I would say no. I've owned the Brio and while very good for the money, not enough juice regardless of claimed efficiency. I've sold Snell E speakers in the past and they like more.
The Rega Brio is a great little amp, but it does run out of steam if you want really loud levels. I have one I use with my TV/DVD setup (I replaced it with a Mira in my secondary system and the Brio went to the TV-stereo) I think the Mira is better. The Brio should be fine if used at moderate levels or background system.
