I have an Ania currently and I have used it on three rega tonearms between two different turntables. I started with the Ania on a planar 2 with an rb220 tonearm. It was a huge improvement over the nagaoka MP-110 it replaced. I then bought a used rb330 tonearm for the planar 2. The new tonearm improved the sound much more than I thought it would. It was dramatic, I heard more detail in records I had listened to many times before. Then came the turntable upgrade from the planar 2 to a new model planar 8 with the rb880. I moved the Ania over and once again I'm hearing new details in my records.
I think the sweet spot though for the Ania was with the rb330 tonearm. That combination was very complementary to eachother. The rb220 was not able to bring out all the performance of the Ania cartridge. Currently I think the Ania doesn't bring out all the potential of my planar 8 and the rb880 tonearm. I just picked up an Aria v2 phono stage (upgrade from a Rega fono mc) and my next upgrade will be an Apheta 3.
I guess my point is you should try to consider where the limiting factor will be in performance and make your upgrade decisions based on that. You may notice an improvement with an Aphelion on your p6 over an Apheta 2 or 3 but your table/tonearm/phono stage are probably going to keep you from getting the most out of that top of the line cartridge.
