I've run a dedicated ground on a separate line in my system. Big help! It was done all inside the ac box and wall, not ouside via cheater plugs. sounds kind of like the same concept...
Reference Ground Set-up?
Has anyone tried constucting a "Reference Grounding Set-up"?
As I understand it, you float the ground of the power cords (or power block/strip) by using two pronged "cheater" adapters (no grounding). Next, you construct a separate grounding system (lightening rod type stake) into the soil and clamp a heavy gauge solid copper wire from the stake to the ground on the pre-amp. Said to make an amazing difference in reducing residual noise resulting in blacker background, better definition. Comments? Happy Tunes!
