for $10k I would buy a $3000 Marantz cinema 50 for HT and then I would buy a seperate 2 channel amp to drive my front speakers for 2 channel sound. Run the pre-out from the cinema 50 to one input on the amp. Run the input from your 2 channel system to the other input.

@erik_squires has stepped away from the forums for a while but he told went to Anthem, regretted it, and recommended the Marantz cinema 50 to me. I am very happy with it. But I have never heard the anthem. I do not use my reciever for 2 channel sound. Jerry |
