Real experience - Balanced or Unbalanced between Luxman Pre & Power Amps

Hi Folks, 

After having spent quite a bit of time testing both balanced and unbalanced cables between a luxman c10x preamp and m10x power amp.  I'm not noticing any difference.  

My balanced cable is from blue jeans and interconnect is a QED ref 40.  

Does anyone have any experience with these components, if so what has your experience been and what are you using between them?

...  your equipment should follow AES standards for Balanced operation (that you are using Luxman equipment, I 'think' you should be in the clear ...

Looking at the published specs, it does not look like the Luxmans are compliant with the AES 48 spec:

Input impedance LINE : 45 kΩ/1 kHz
BAL LINE : 90 kΩ/1 kHz
LINE → BAL LINE : 27 kΩ/1 kHz
BAL LINE → LINE : 54 kΩ/1 kHz
Output impedance LINE : 90 Ω/1 kHz
BAL LINE : 180 Ω/1 kHz

But that is of no real concern. It's quite common for fully balanced audio gear to use another approach. You still gain the benefit of CMRR.
