RCA Splitter to Bi-amp?

I have a preamp with just one set of ouputs, a Cyrus Pre vs2. I'm trying to come up with a way of using it with my multi-channel amp, a Primare A30.5, to biamp my speakers.

Is it possible to use some sort of RCA splitter to achieve this? I've seen some companies, such as Audioquest, offer y-splitters which might do the job. But I'm not sure if they're really designed for the purpose I have in mind.

Most importantly, would using a splitter like this actually degrade the sound quality?

I'd appreciate any views on this and, if it is in fact possible, recommendations for a very high quality splitter.

You might want to have someone make up a split cable using six RCA connectors and four runs of IC cable. This will eliminate a connection, and probably give you better sound..

On a further note, I have been using a 30.5 for bi-amping for years. The improvement in sound was really noticeable for me, and I wouldn't go back to single amping.

I've used splitters on my Musical Fidelity NuVista and was very happy with the results.

I used a splitter from Parts Express below:
