RB-251/301 on Thorens TD-160
Hi guys,
Just got my mounting plate for my TD-160 to allow for mounting the Rega RB 250/300 or the 251/301. I can do either, I wouldn't mind the RB-301 but am not sure about buying an OEM one as I have read through here and found out it does not have the improved cable. Any input on this? Is the the benefit of the newer 3-point mounting arms better even if the cable is not upgraded? The price is virtually the same it seems...
Another question, I am running a Ortofon 2M bronze, and I have read these require a 2mm spacer with the newer Rega arms. Would this be the same on a Thorens table? Thanks!
