So, as I'm sure some of you know, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown passed away today. He had been evacuated to Baton Rouge but was very ill with some type of heart disease.
Only got the chance to see him twice in my life, but what a musician!
I've recorded several of Gatemouth's tunes over the years and they where hilites on my Cd's, his rendition of "Honky Tonk" is uniquely amazing ... it's another GREAT ONE gone ...
