Hifitime, yes, looking back at the post I wrote it does look weird putting the words "things" and "stuff" in quotes. It can be misconstrued, which was not my intent. I shared with Al my top secret for a system, one which I'm writing up now. I didn't want to say publically what the system configuration is, thus the bland generalizations. He is knowledgeable enough and a gentleman enough that I thought he would enjoy a sneak preview of the system. He has promised confidentiality until the reivew is published, and I believe he will honor it. :)

Doug was kind enough to describe experimental findings that he correctly anticipated would be of particular interest to me.

There was no need to hoist a few (or even any), either beforehand or after :-)


What a relief. Almarg is one of the few left around here that can answer some of the questions. We don't want to lose him.
