There was a guy that was taking the ASL Hurricanes amplifiers and re-soldering them using good silver solder. His charge was the retail cost of the amps. Not a good value. I wouldn't thing it would be worth it in this case either. Lots of circuit boards in that player and I don't think they are going to re-solder those.
