Q for any Luxman L-509X owners

Just to confirm, the "Separate" button on the Luxman remote DOES work, you just have to do a hard press. Really enjoying the convenience since I discovered this tiny operational detail.

I know the dealer that Greggnh was talking about. And to intimate that John the owner doesn't know what he's doing is laughable. I've been dealing w/him for about 25 years. I got my luxman L509x last April and am very happy with it, it drives my Dynaudio Sapphires well and have heard more detail and soundstage improved a lot.
I have a question though, I have a michell gyro dec SE edition and a Denon DL 103r cartridge, and when using the luxman's MC phono stage I find that I need to put the volume quite high, has anybody experienced this,
