Pure Audio Lotus 5 DAC

Has anyone had first hand experience of the Pure Audio Lotus 5 DAC? I note it has had some good reviews but would prefer to hear what real life users think.

I have had this DAC for about 3 months now.  It is amazing, I replaced a stage 4 modded  PS Audio Digital Link III.  A good DAC for redbook but limited resolution. The Lotus is much more dynamic and supports DSD as well as MQA. One caveat, it takes some real burn in time.  At  times, before 100 hours, it sounded harsh and then magnificent in the same session. It was an adventure but well worth the wait.  Highly recommended.
Put a good quality power cord  on it and put in a good fuse . I heard my friends
and it has different settings which you can alter the perspective a bit which is
very good . The Schiit yggs gets a lot of great press in my system it did not mesh
I liked the lotus better ,lower noise floor for sure not Hifi maybe a bit more accurate ,the Schiit yggs latest version had a bit more saturation
but after upgrading my Amphion 3S monitors with The Jantzen Alumen ,caps, and path Audio resistors it is much more natural it needs a dac with a bit more control
that was not bright ,in my case it bettered too the Mytek Brooklyn Bridge
the dac in the lotus uses the latest Sabre 38 pro, which is a bit more advanced then the 28 ,in bothe benchmsrk3  which is very good but not forgiving at all with older CDs, or the other 2 mentioned . A steal for under $2k ,and I was told underwood wally was giving out a pretty decent power cord with it fir $1500
and competes with most anything under $2500 -$3k is a no brainer. Too bad they don’t offer a 30 day trial .
