PS Audio "Gain Cell" Amps & Preamps?

Hello,
Has anyone out there heard or bought PS Audio's new digital "Gain Cell" power amps, integrated amps, and preamp yet?
If so, how do they sound & compare to other products on the market?
I hear they are based on the ICE modules.
Thanks for your time.

I have the same question. This is a major player, one that creates industry buzz, and I've heard nothing. The gain cell is suppose to be revolutionarily quiet, but so has the press, the various audio forums, etc. What gives? Maybe this stuff sucks and it's getting buried. I wish I had a clue?
From PS Audio's site:

"The GCC Control Amplifier was awarded Best Product Of The Year! Sam Ho, of HiFi Review Magazine, granted the GCC-250 this prestigious honor for the innovations of the Gain Cell technology and the sheer beauty of this G Series Control Amplifier's performance."
I have just finished my evaluation of the GCC-250 for The Stereo Times. It should be published in about a month. I don't want to let the cat out of the bag, but let's just say that my review will present an interesting contrast to Mr. Ho's.
OK but who is Mr. Ho???????????? And did he review it?? And last was his review too positive???

Tvad, nice try, but Henry Ho of H20 is a different person than Sam Ho of HiFi Review Magazine. HoHoHo!

The Australia PS audio distributor hasd one of the pre's. His comment was it sounded OK for the price but his Herron line stage was a lot better.
In other words, no big deal despite PS's hype.

Gee-Plato, aka Frank A., are we suppose to be impressed that a ST reviewer posts information here on audiogon? Does CP approve of his staff prebaiting their unpublished
ST reviews on audiogon? HoHoHo!
I’ve have had the PS Audio two channel pre amp (GCP-200) in my system for about 3 months and it's wonderful. I’m a preamp junkie and own three other preamps as well. It's currently playing in my reference system while the Plinius, BAT and the CJ (SS) are in the closet. It’s dead quiet. It does a great job at the extremes but its something about the midrange that is just does so right. This is the least expensive preamp I currently own and it’s the top contender in my system. That’s saying a lot since I’m in the business and can pretty much get my hands on whatever I want. Two thumbs up for the "Gain Cell" based GCP-200

ps, I dont sell PS audio products
No volume control degradation on the PS Audio GCP-200 sounds very impressive, since the greatest overall weaknesses in most all preamps is from the volume control.
Just ask Guy at Placette Audio.
PS Audio also claims that it has the shortest signal path of any other preamp.
HoHoHo! Merry Christmas everyone...oops its too early for that! My apologies.

Well just got this preamp as many others here have indicated, you can't find many reviews out there. So consider this one of them.

I also now own NHT's new flagship Xd system. This preamp is a perfect match from what I can see in the first day. My previous preamp, an excellent one by Space Tech Labs, the QA-808 was part of the previous system (B&W 803 Nautilus, McCormack DNA-2 Rev. A modded) and great for that.

But for this digital system, it's no contest. I didn't expect there would be much of a difference but there is a huge improvement in dynamics, soundstage with the PS Audio GCP-200.

As PS Audio also couples this with its own digital amp design, maybe I shouldn't be so surprised. As Xd has its own partner relationship for their digital amplification, it's a superb match.

This preamp can play very loud, up to 130db according to the manual, and there's no noise floor I can distinguish. Their gain technology application seems to do exactly what they said it would. It preserves the quality of the sound at all volumes with no distortion.
