PS Audio Directstream MK2

Is there any PS Audio MK2  owners  who can tell us about their experience with there DAC.  I read it started out rocky but the updates on the software has much improved the sound.  I also read that the JK Richards upgrade to the PS audio MK1 sounded better than the PS Audio Direct Stream MK2 but that was before all the software updates.  In the JK Richards thread they also mention that PS Audio has had some Direct Stream MK2 DAC's with some build issues.  That might have been over exaggerated.  If not hopefully they had gotten that taken care of.  I noticed they have a new update just released and curious how that  affects the sound.

I had the MK I and traded it in for the MK II which was better than the MK I right from the start. Each free software update has been a very nice improvement. The MK  II has a second FPGA I don’t think they have even tapped into yet. The PS Audio forum has a lot of commentary on this excellent DAC.

In the end the MK2 sounds much better with the mods we do.  Almost as good as our Limited Edition MK1.  We have both so we can have customers listen for themself and also bring in their favorite DAC for comparison. Most all couldn't believe that the Limited Edition MK1 sounds better, more real and detailed.  If they bring in their stock MK2 they are floored at the improvements made in the MK2. We do blind testing and level matching so none know which DAC they are listening to till the end when we tell them.

And this is with the new firmware Blue sky.
