Projectors and Screens
My brother is looking for a 1080P projector and he's willing to spend $5 to $6 grand, (street price). I suggested the JVC DLA-RS2, and from what I gather the Pioneer Elite Pro FPJ1 is basically the JVC re-badged(?) Am I steering him in the right direction?
He also wants a high-quality screen. I suggested Stewart based on what I've read on this forum and other websites. I just don't know which Stewart screen in particular.
I welcome any and all suggestions on both the projector and screen. He has a 2 1/2 car garage converted into a home theater room, and he'll sit back from the screen approx 16 feet or more. Lighting isn't too big of an issue.
