pro-ject cd box rs2 vs jays audio cd2 mk3

I have been following a lot of posts here , but I have not read of any comparisons as of the 2 transports . I am on the fence about the 2 transports as it does not seem that there is to many choices in that price range. I can purchase both transports for about the same price . any body compare them yet or have any other thoughts . thanks

I probably would buy the Jay’s, as the Pro-Ject uses an external power supply that probably weighs less than a pound, while the Jay’s has a very hefty internal transformer, and has an IEC socket that allows you to upgrade the power cord.  Looking at videos of both, the Jay’s, to me, looks a little better in quality.  But, I would look into how easy, or hard, it is to get service on the Jay’s, if needed.  After all, it’s not all over the place like Pro-Ject.
@jasonbourne52 too bad you know absolutely nothing about what you comment on.  Or maybe you blew out your ears by listening to too loud music.
@hshifi. You do not have to send the Jay’s cd2 mk3 in to have the cd drive replaced.  Both the drive and the laser pickup are user replaceable, taking only a few minutes.  Pricing is $300 for the drive and $100 for the pickup.
@ dreas     An i2s input is on a sharp increase in usage.  Even the new Topping D90SE @ $899 has one.
@coltrane1  the Topping uses a three+ y/o chipset, albeit the flagship ESS ES9038PRO.  I have no idea how well its implementation stacks up to the same chipset implementation in my Cocktail Audio X45PRO, but at 15% of what mine cost, it must, I think, be a better value.  Plus, the topping has the i2s input, and mine doesn’t.
