Pricing

We would like to see our Phase Linear Preamplifier model 4000 and amplifier model 400. We bought these new in 1976 and just don’t use them anymore. They are both in walnut cabinets and have the original manuals. Supposedly their being "Bob Carver" helps with their value. Anybody have an idea what amount we should sell them for?

If you get $350.00 for both take it as they are ancient history not a collectors item.

A nicely restored Phase Linear 400 is indeed a desirable vintage amp - and very good sounding, too! I have one in my collection.

If the 4000 sounds anything like the 2000, you'd need to sell it to a deaf person. Sorry, but I owned one and it was truly terrible. Cheaply made as well.
