Preamps or source components

is it ok to plug a preamp or dac, etc. in a power conditioner with isolation transformers which will have a higher mains than the 120v or so.
the voltages follows the mains at 120v or so but is always higher than the non isolated outlets for amps and subs.
your supposed to use those outlets for digital stuff, or preamp etc.
the API power wedges has them.

The 116 has six isolated outlets (one with reverse polarity for all you polarity sensitive types) for source components, and four for high current drawing amplifiers.

The 113 has three isolated outlets (one rated at 270 watts for large direct view or projection screens), and four amp outlets. The 113 was designed for use mainly with Video systems,

If you are asking if it’s ok to plug sources into the high-current outlets, then yes you can.

I think you're asking if it's okay to use a power conditioner if the supply voltage from the mains goes over 120v. Sure. The pc has electronics to ensure a stable output voltage. Unless, of course, the pc only uses isolation transformers only.
