Preamp and Power Amp Matching

Hey y’all. Because numbers generally cause my brain to seize up, I am hoping to confirm my layman's understanding of matching amps.

The input impedance of the power amp should be at least 10 times higher than the output impedance of the preamp, correct?

My current amp has an input impedance of 30K ohms. One preamp I'm looking at has an output impedance of 440 ohms. This could work, right?
