personally never liked Mcintosh never found their gear to be transparent
we would recomend you look at zesto'sgear we were a cj dealer and the zesto gear sounded as good for less money with far greater features
the new bia 200 power amplifier is far more powerful then the cj 36watts vs 100
the Zesto power amp is super configurable: you can chose different bias setting
you can choose to use many different power tubes" kt 88 kt 150 kt170
you have a fully balanced amp and preamp
the preamp has a tone control which may be helpful in system matching
