Pre and Amp for Virgo II's

Hi, I am running a VTL 5.5 pre and a VTL ST-85 amp for these babies, I am very happy with the set up. I am wondering what amplification other virgo owners are using. These speakers are pure magic, I am open to suggestions of what works particularly well.......thanks...Mark

I'm using the latest version of the Monarchy Audio SE-160 hybrid monoblocks and the John Curl designed Parasound P/LD 2000 preamp. I use a separate AHT dual-mono phono preamp and the sound is amazingly musical AND detailed! I too, think the Virgo IIs are great speakers, and I've owned and heard many. :)
