I ordered the Lyngdorf mp-60 2.1

Good for you!!!  Their room correction is legendary and I totally think you made the right decision and will be thrilled with the results.  I’ll just say, I’m jealous, and please report back on what I’m sure are going to be fantastic results.  I heard a TacT room correction (the former company of Lyngdorf) and the results were nothing short of stunning.  And that was his OLDER technology.  IMHO, you made the right choice!

The Lyngdorf’s room correction is at a higher level.  The effects of superior room correction can be huge and I think would overwhelm any other differences.  Just an educated guess though.  Best of luck.

The room correction improvement is about 20%.It can not compensate for a very bad acoustic room.

That wasn’t my point.  The point was the Lyngdorf has superior room correction that differentiates it from the Acurus and could supersede other sonic differences.

I’m no a big fan of most EQ programs either, but Lyngdorf room correction is very advanced and I’d be surprised if it didn’t yield positive results.

All I can tell you is I heard TacT’s room correction in a roughly $200k system, and with the room correction turned off the system sounded broken to the point where I’d never consider listening without it — it was that significant.  I think maybe they’re thinking of the standard EQ programs on most AVRs and prepros that I wouldn’t use either, but I can assure you Lyngdorf is light years ahead of those programs.
