Powering on an SS Amp

Hi Guys, I just would want to know if it will be safe for me to Power On an SS Amp without the preamp and the speakers connected? Thank you.

Unless your bench testing/measuring. But never power up a tube amp without speakers, or resistive load attached, as sometimes they can go into oscillation which can take out the output transformers. I have not used it about 6 months and would like to install them replacing an Audio Research VS115 Amp. Before doing so, I want it bench tested before even think moving it coz it's massively heavy. I just want to make sure that it powers up. Jun
