I use the Behringer B203IA Truth active monitors,less than $400.00 dollars with a Jbl Prx518s sub that should play as loud as you need.
Powered speakers for basement system?
I'm looking for some accurate powered monitors that play very loud, something simple, such as The M audio studiophile AV30. I like this speaker a lot but it just doesn't play loud enough. It needs to have easy ipod / mp3 player connectivity. Also I need a set of speakers that I am able to connect a powered subwoofer to.
