I have a JPS Analog power cord on my 66.I am breaking in a home made cable which I will try once it has about 500 hours on it.The JPS was a step up from the stock cord.
I have only tried lower priced cords on my 66 and have found that the "Asylum cord" sold here for about $50 has worked the best so far. Its a simple 14 gauge cord that is well put together based on Bob Crump's design and the proceeds go to charity - a worthwhile investment...
For the money, you might want to check out the Voodoo Mana at $175. It's every bit as good as the Synergistic AC Master Coupler, which I owned 2 of at one time but "upgraded" to the Voodoo Manas and saved some major bucks. It's a much better built cable and more dynamic, in my humble opinion.
