I like Anti Cable's PCs

I'm just using a Kimber PK 14 on my P5. Since it's a regenerator it doesn't seem to matter as much, at least in my system.

The HiDiamond P4 power cord is also very good, but also pricy.

I own and use all three. I’m very happy with them all.
I can also make suggestions for power cords under the price range of $500 if asked.

I too am a fan of HIDiamond and Triode Wire Labs.

Don't know your budget/system context, but here goes :
PS Audio P10 > PS Audio AC12 (I'm running this, cheap ~ excellent result).
Esoteric K03X > Esoteric Acrolink Mexcel 7N-9500 (a friend currently using w/K01X, superb synergy).

If you decide to go all-out and like presentations that tip slightly on the weighty, natural/life-like, organic side of things, I'd do :
P10 > StageIII Zyklop/Kraken.
K03X > Siltech Ruby DC/Nordost Odin/ Mexcel 7N-9500 (fine tune to suit best your taste/preference).

If price is of no concern and you wish not to upgrade again for a lifetime, you should go for a High Fidelity CT-1U or UR.

68pete- give us an update! These are all great replies to your original query. IME, the very best power cord in the marketplace, is the, Stage III Concepts offered by Brian @ Aaudio Imports. Keep me posted & happy listening!

You should try one of the new OCC 11 or 9 gauge power cords from the Mad Scientist. They use magnets and other special propriety items in there design. I can attest that the 11 gauge is awesome on my PS P10 Power regenerator. Much better than others I have tried. And I have owned or tried almost all of the best power cords.

AND.. the Mad Scientist's OCC power cords cost a fraction of those.

Ozzy, have you tried the new Maestro power cables from Cruze First Audio yet ??? ...

You didn't say what your budget is but you might try to locate some Acrolink PCs on hifishark. Acrolink and Esoteric are the same company. Their upper end cords are pricey but supposedly excellent.

The Esoterics use Mitsubishi wiring which is what Acrolink cable are, but wiring in the esoterics looks very normal and nothing like the construction of the Acrolink Mexcel's.

I am intrigued what kind of synergy Acrolink and Esoteric gear have which i have read mentioned a few times, especially digital front end together with the mexcel powercords.

There isnt any reviews though, nor comparisions with other cables with esoteric gear to get an idea what synergy there is.

Im sure the pc9500 cord is very good, but still remains a mystery.

Do yourself a huge favor and try a Hidiamond P4. Exemplary power cord. There is one on the Gon for sale.
