The lsim’s are nice speakers. These were Polks top of the line prior to introducing the legend series. In typical Polk fashion they are going to have quite a bit of bass and a thick mid bass which I find very pleasing. Cabinets are built very well. The only issue I had with the lsim’s was I needed a little more sparkle and clarity up top. The newer Polks have achieved that with the newer ring radiator tweeter. All and all if your looking for a warm sounding speaker with deep bass response they are a great alternative, but I will say if you hunt around you will eventually find used 705’s for much less than $950 a pair.
