Plinius 8200 amp fading sound

I’ve been running a Plinius 8200 integrated amp for 30+ years and recently noticed the sound - not necessarily volume - seems to take a step back or fade and then returns- usually no more than 20-30 seconds. I’ve done all the troubleshooting I can do and nothing has worked. My research tells me is the problem is likely a power supply issue or an internal component failure — obviously just guessing here. My question is, is this worth pursuing from a cost standpoint or should I be looking at a new integrated? I don’t want to abandon the 8200 as I love it, but I’m wondering if I’m at a point where I need to. I recently put $600 into it to track down and fix a feedback issue (apparently a difficult to reach soldering connection was loose and it took several visits to find/fix). All suggestions appreciated thanks

The amp has served you well for three decades but my recommendation is to move on.  I was in a similar situation with a ~20 yr old Krell integrated - volume knob turned up real high but only low volume coming out.  Called Krell and they gave no guarantees they could fix due to parts availability.  (Thankfully, I did not send it to them as this was shortly before they went dark.)  I suspect you could be in a similar situation.
