Plastic Nobsound? Says Ecstasy Prop

Just receive my new order of the $22 Nobsound springs from DoukAudio. The box and contents say Ecstasy Prop, not Nobsound and they are PLASTIC. They claim these will support 35 kg, but I would not put a piece of MY equipment on these. Says free returns, we shall see.

There's different versions. Aluminum about $30, acrylic $22, and I've seen others. The springs all seem to be the same they just change the footers. Mostly you want the springs, because unless you component is really heavy you only need 3-4 springs and can use the extra 3-4 to make new sets. All it takes is a piece of wood and a 1/4" drill bit. Makes this the bargain tweak of the century.
The pictures look like acrylic and corian, something like that. The only purpose it serves is to hold the springs spaced in alignment. The actual material is rather unimportant, and certainly does not need to be very strong. I made some out of MDF to use the extra springs, they work just fine, virtually the same as the aluminum. Maybe you should actually try them before writing them off?
