Pioneer SXD-7000 Any Info on this BEAST ?

I recently found this reciever at a resale shop and was impressed with its features and size so I had to bring it home.Looked in my ORION BLUE BOOK and found nothing...not even something simular in model #.
So my thread is has anyone seen or heard of this model and how does it stack up in performance?
I am guessing that it is a late '70's or early 80's.One feature it has that is rare is an adaptor function possibly for laser disc's or something ?
Any info at all would be greatly appreciated,Thanks

BTW the size measures 22"w X 17"d X 6-1/2"h and weighs about 45 to 50 lbs.

I bought one of those from the thrift store for my garage. I searched for info on it too. All I found is that in it's model year it was either the top of the line or near the top. The coax switching was a curiosity for me. Mine sounds like garbage. Hope yours does not.
Try searching using SX-D7000. It was made in 1980-1981 era!! I saw several links using google.

Let me know if you can't find what you want and I will ask my wife to try to get some info for you at work. (She works for Pioneer here in Ohio)
Here is what I found at this site:

SX-D7000 Receiver — The D7000 is the big brother to the D5000. While being basically the same layout, it is an inch wider and 5 pounds heavier. The biggest reason is the increase in amplifier power, which is rated at 120 watts per channel with less than 0.005% total harmonic distortion. The D7000 also has a few more controls, such as a C speaker switch, tone on-off, turnover controls for the bass and treble, a display dimmer, a second phono input, and a MM/MC phono preamp control. Moving coil phone cartridges were just coming onto the market at that time, and the D7000 was the first Pioneer receiver that could directly connect to an MC cartridge. The SX-D7000 was available in 1980 and 1981 at a $800 suggested list price.

And you can buy a SX-D7000 manual here:
