I still say the L100 Century. Yes, vintage Pioneer is warm (which is why I loved Pioneer in the 70's), and still, unless you must have bookshelf speakers, I still say JBL. If floor space were not an issue, I would have said Rectilinear. Bookshelf? I kind of liked the EPI 100's.
How about a Snell E? Very solid speaker.
