Phono Pre--Conrad Johnson-------

I currently have in my system the TEA2SE------I am wondering if anyone can advise re the TEA1S 2--

I have been using a step up transformer for my turntable with the TEA2SE----cartridge is Dynvaector XX2-

I cannot trial the 1S2: at least have not found anyone willing to do so.----
so, no idea what it does for me, at a ten thousand dollar premium. I’m told "reduced noise levels--improved sound" etc.

Or alternative?---as I had to go to the step up transformer as the TEA2SE wouldn’t give enough push for Dynavector cartridge to properly work.

Can anyone offer their thoughts--??? Thanks------
