Phono pre
Hello everyone!
I currently have the awesome vintage Marantz 2270 which plays the music flawlessly! I like it's phono for it's involving musical sound. But I plan to get the McIntosh 275 and wanted to prepare for it by choosing the most involving phono pre. So I've just tried the EAR 834p for 1 month and really didn't liked it since it is harsh and uninvolving at all comparing to marantz, btw, I've got a set of NOS tubes so I've tried some different without any luck.
Now I've came across the vintage Yamaha C-2a pre, is it by any means in the same league as the upcoming MC-275?
