Personal speaker evolution

OK, so here is a thread I haven't ever seen here: What speakers have you owned? starting with the earliest, price paid, new/used, and perhaps the models that really impressed you (for the price) in CAPS.

Rat Shack Something or others, $120, new
Fisher Something or others, $280, new
ADS L710's, $550, new
Snell A2i's, $1100, used
BEVERIDGE SYSTEM 3'S, $1000, used
Martin Logan CLS, $1400, used

Von Schweikert VR2100's -- $800
Martin Logan CLSII's -- $1400
SILVERLINE SR15's -- $800 some of the smoothest I've heard
MARTIN LOGAN CLSIIz's -- $4350
Dunlavy SCIV -- $3800
VON SCHWEIKERT VR4.5's -- $1500&$1350 (went through 2 pair)
Mission speakers in current HT rig -- $2550 (top of line)
MEADOWLARK HERON -- $2250
Magnepan MG1.5's -- $1200
Vandersteen 4A -- $1800
Magnepan MG1.6's -- $1000 (no patience for maggies)

I think I only recently figured out that Logans are best for my listening tastes. But, (1) I will never get rid of my Carvers, too much of a bargain (2) There will always be a need for cones around here.
