I have a Perreaux 2150B bought on eBay for $900. It is quite a powerhouse of an amp! 340/680/920wpc@8/4/2 ohms. I turned down an offer to buy a Levinson amp for $3K from a local seller. I think the 2150B is sonically comparable and a much better value. Made in New Zealand - not a place one would think of for advanced HiFi gear!
Perreaux?
After being in all the magazines about 20 years ago or so, haven't heard from this brand in quite some time. I looked them up and they're still pumping out products, but they advertising and presence seems to have minimized.
