The PWD prolly has a stiffer powersupply then your sound card: a better clock: and a lower output impedance. The brdige has a fifo buffer and that will benefit all inputs. M2C
PerfectWave Bridge
I listen to a lot of music thru my PC. I have a decent sound card plugged into my Cary 300SEI using rca cables.
If I am listening to FLAC music stored on the PC's hard drive or playing streaming music over SomaFM.com, it mostly sounds pretty good to me.
I am wondering "how" the PerfectWave DAC with Bridge will improve this overall experience.
Can anybody explain this to me?
